Reading time: 2 – 2 minutes
The Leadership Development Carnival for November is up and can be found at Great Leadership. I’m excited and honored to be included in the carnival for the first time this month. I started the Reflection Leadership blog just before the deadline for last month’s carnival and was encouraged by Dan McCarthy to submit an entry. Since it was all new to me at the time, I decided to let the October deadline pass so I could get a lay of the blogging land.
What I found in the Leadership Development carnival is a great post at the beginning of each month that lists recent posts by some of the best leadership writers that I’ve found online. I spent the first week of last month reading every post in the carnival. This is where I got the list of leadership blogs that I now have in my RSS reader. I’m currently in the process of going through this month’s carnival looking for posts from folks I hadn’t read before. It’s a great way to find great content.
The other great thing is that the Leadership Development Carnival includes the opportunity to follow all of your favorite carnival participants on Twitter. Following this group gives you leadership nuggets throughout the day and provides you with another way to know when new articles have been posted to this great collection of blogs throughout the month.
I’m looking forward to participating in the carnival going forward. Next month’s carnival will be hosted by Mark Stelzner at Inflexion Point. So watch for announcements for the December 1 Leadership Development Carnival!
